Together, Let’s Finish 2024 Strong: Empowering Leaders, Driving Justice.

As we close out another monumental year, we reflect on the unique mission that inspires us every day at The Witness Inc. We believe in speaking truths that many spiritual leaders long to express but may struggle to voice. At a time when Black-led, justice-centered content is more essential than ever, we are committed to building a future rooted in authenticity, justice, and discipleship. 

In 2024, we focused on providing opportunities for non-profit experience, facilitating an excellent Joy & Justice Conference, funding the Fellowship program and powering Pass The Mic. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to continue expanding our content, growing our community, and catalyzing leaders who will champion justice and faith.

1. Content
We’re dedicated to creating transformative resources, from small group curricula to digital media, designed to help churches and faith communities nurture justice-minded discipleship from a Black Christian perspective. These materials will be crafted to serve as tools for small groups, Sunday schools, and every corner of spiritual life where faith and justice intertwine.

2. Community
We believe in the power of community as the foundation for lasting change. This year, we've built spaces—both online and in person—where Black Christian leaders and allies can gather, support one another, and explore ways to impact their communities. We know that creating true change requires collective strength and shared vision, and that’s why community remains at the heart of our work. Not only will we curate opportunities to connect online, but we look forward to creating intimate experiences throughout the country.

3. Catalyze
Our vision for the future is to catalyze a new generation of leaders who are not only equipped with the tools to transform their communities, but receive adequate funding to power their work. We’re developing programs and resources to inspire and activate these leaders, bringing faith and justice together in real, meaningful ways. This “catalyzing” is our commitment to empowering leaders to stand boldly in their calling. In 2025, we plan to open The Witness Fellowship application process for our 2025-2027 fellowship.
