A Story of Redemption: How Leon Bullard Found New Life and Purpose Through YCP.
Like many formerly incarcerated individuals, Leon Bullard stepped out of prison walls into an unfamiliar world, filled with both hope and uncertainty. But unlike many others, Leon's story took a different path. While serving his time, Leon encountered Young Christian Professionals (YCP)—an organization founded by Stanley Frankart that empowers incarcerated individuals to prepare for successful reentry into society through the transformative power of faith and community support.
Reflecting on his journey, Leon shares:
“YCP saved my life, and because of them, I can be a godly husband and godly father and help other people experience the light and love of Jesus as a business owner.”
Leon’s story is one of redemption and purpose. Today, he owns his own HVAC company and has left behind the shadows of prison life. Through YCP’s support, he was able to reconnect with his faith, develop practical skills, and find his place in society—not just as a business owner, but as a positive force in his community. Leon’s experience highlights the power of second chances and the impact of programs designed to uplift those who are often forgotten.
The Mission of YCP: Empowering Second Chances Through Faith
YCP was born out of a vision that Stanley Frankart had while he was serving time. Understanding the challenges faced by those reentering society, Stanley founded YCP to offer hope and practical support to incarcerated individuals and their families. Since its inception, YCP has:
Supported over 1,800 prisoners and their families.
Provided mentorship, faith-based education, and reentry programs.
Created a community where the formerly incarcerated can rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
